At Gamescon ONL 2025, host with the most, Geoff Keighley showed the world that Monster Hunter Wilds would be getting a collaboration event with none other than Final Fantasy XIV. It just makes sense as the mounts in Wilds already hugely resemble chocobos. So can you guess what kind of skin we will be getting? You’re dang right. Chocobos. More will be announced in September for the event but they did leave us with one last tidbit of information: This collab goes both ways. Final Fantasy XIV will be getting Monster Hunter content as well! Expect giant boss fights and awesome skins in both games coming soon.
