The Console Wars Are Over

During Sony’s lates State of Play on September 24th, 2025, Microsoft Flight Simulator was shown off on the Playstation 5. What a weird sentence to type here. This ultra-realistic flight sim is making its way to Playstation on December 8th, 2025.

Originally released back in November of 2024 from Asobo Studio and Xbox Games Studio, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 boasts 125 different aircraft from commercial planes to jets to military transporters. Take your flight across the world – literally. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a digital clone of the Earth we live and breathe in. With over 40,000 (you read the right) airports and 60,000 helipads, you can fly to any of the seven continents however and whenever you like.

Sony is also adding DualSense to the mix with the triggers being able to respond to how fast you’re going and even whatever type of surface you happen to be rolling on.

If you pre-order the Deluxe, Premium, or Aviator Editions, you get access to the game a bit early on December 3rd.
