If you have just started up Final Fantasy Resonance and immediately thought “Oh my God, when, where, and how, do I get Cloud Strife?” Well, I have you covered.
Cloud can be easily overlooked but also easily found in the very first chapter of the game. Mild spoilers will follow.
Right after getting to the desert, you’ll find yourself with a shiny new Chocobo to traverse the dangerous lands. Before you press on to the main story quests, make sure you head Northwest of The Village of Kol to the sanctum.
Once you’re here, you’ll answer three questions to see if you and Cloud can be ultra best friends throughout the game. Answer however you see fit as it does not have any negative bearing on your outcome.
Just like the other Visions in Final Fantasy Resonance, Cloud comes with his own unique sets of skills and abilities and is easily one of the best Visions in the early parts of the game. Make sure to level him up with your selected character (I went with Rain, of course) and unleash all the Buster Sword fury.
Cloud Strife became one of the most important characters in Final Fantasy history. Ushering in a new era for the series in its PlayStation 1 debut back in 1997 with Final Fantasy VII. He has since made appearances in other games and pieces of Final Fantasy work including the recent Final Fantasy 7 Remake series.
