Skull And Bones - Is Y2S2 Worth Your Time?

Don't mutiny my ship, but, I have just started playing Skull and Bones. Like. Last the last two weeks. It's now part of the Playstation Plus catalog, and after I had a chance to play/test their PvP mode a little while back, I decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did. After a week of playing, I have 50 some hours already put into the game. I may not be as experienced as most people who have played the game before but I am genuinely having a good time. I was fortunate enough to complete last season's battle pass and have the thrills and excitement of everything being new and shiny. So it was to my pleasure that I came in at the end of one season and headed into another. After 50 hours of gametime, is there a noticeable difference between last season and this and is it worth your time?

The short answer: Yes.

Year 2 Season 2 brings plenty of handy changes to the mix. Ships cruise much faster in the wind (be careful when you are launching over waves now. Ouch!), turning and maneuverability has been fine-tuned, new cosmetics, new Megafort raids, a new ship (!), loadout functionality, and more! I've had my hand in all of this the last two days since the update and I'm loving it. I am fortunate enough to have a friend to sail along with and take on all the new things and that surely attributes to the fun factor, but even taking the journey along solo or joining events in the lobby is still a great time. These are all welcome changes, especially after just playing a short time. I can already feel Ubisoft is dedicated to improving the game and not letting it sink into the sea.

There are some current downsides with how long it takes to actually level up your new Smuggler's Pass (I'm rank 9 after 10ish hours so it is not the worst in the world) but I feel this will be fixed due to a possible oversight and public outcry. The new Megafort raid is fun, but like anything really, has the potential for the allure to wear off quickly. This may be because I may have found a way to sit in a corner and pelt away at the big baddies without too much danger, and that is on me.

Overall, the new ship is FUN. There is a mission where you get to control it and I cannot wait to own this beauty and dominate everything in my path. The new Megafort is great for the time being, and new rewards are pretty exciting to get. Sailing feels more fluid with the changes and I'm stoked to be chasing down poor, poor merchants in the open seas. Whether you're a veteran of the water or a new sea pup like myself, Y2S2 is a worthwhile addition to Skull and Bone and you should check it out. I've streamed my experience in the past two days and will continue to do so nightly. If you'd like to see that experience out, head over to the Don't Revive Your Friends Twitch channel HERE.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Equip And Use Your Glider

Are you wondering how to use your new Glider in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Have no fear as I am here to tell you exactly how to do it! If you happen to be blasting or skipping through menus in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may be wondering how the heck to equip that shiny new surfboard glider you got. Well, all you have to do is go to your Wardrobe, scroll down to Gliders and select it! Easy as a hot dog! But how do you hop on this thing and use it? Well for that, first you MUST make sure your stamina bar is in the yellow. You do this by eating cooked meals that will take you above your maximum stamina bar. Once this is complete, just run for a few seconds until an icon appears in the bottom left side of the screen. Tap that button (For me, on Xbox, it's B) and PERFECTO! You'll be gliding in no time! Make sure to pay attention to your stamina bar as it will run out pretty quickly though! For more tips, opinions, and overall shenanigans, make sure to leave a comment and come back...

Drova Review - An RPG Worthy Of Your Time

A dark and mysterious world awaits you! When I first loaded up Drova: Forsaken Kin, I was welcomed with some sort of familiarity. I felt like I have been here before. It wasn't a bad feeling, it was just that: a feeling. As I progressed through the opening moments, I already found myself wondering about the world I was in. "Why am I here?" This means that the story, the art, and the atmosphere already had me hooked. Drova is an action RPG with retro styled graphics that take me back to the older Diablos. With a loot system, crafting, side quests, and more, you feel right at home. The campaign itself is 40 hours! Well, a lot more if you are like me and take your time doing all the wrong things of exploration. Let's get into some nitty-gritty of the world of Drova and see if you should pick this up yourself. The story itself is a big mystery throughout. Per it's description:   Encounter a society where ancient restless spirits and divided factions battle for domina...

Movie Backlog: The Fast And The Furious (2001)

I'm a bit ashamed of myself. And, to a point, somewhat proud. I have never watched any of the Fast and Furious movies other than 2 Fast 2 Furious for some reason. So I got sick over the weekend and decided to start watching the entire season to see what I have missed over the last 20 years. Here are some of my thoughts on the first movie into this adrenaline-filled, NOS-injected, action-packed love story.  The Fast This movie starts out at a pretty fast pace. Quick racing, quick fights, all the machismo you can shake a stick at. We get to follow Brian O'Connor, played by the late Paul Walker. A blonde surfer type who is an undercover cop sent to investigate the infamous street racing gang leader, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel). This is because a bunch of truck's have been hijacked and good ole Dommy boy is the main suspect. We find out the Brian likes tuna sandwiches. Pretty dang cool I guess. I'm not a car guy and I will never pretend to be, but what I noticed is there are ...
